Blackmore Vale Bonsai Group Show 2023
The setup for the show on Saturday evening was hot.
Then Sunday morning early the rest of the show was set up, trees put on the society displays and on the members' tables. The society displays were by Staverton Bonsai Group, Somerset Bonsai Club Warminster Bonsai Club and Blackmore Vale Bonsai Group, the hosts.
From opening there was a steady stream of visitors, each having a vote for their favourite tree.
Outside Tony Oswin and Trevor Banbury worked on trees all day.
The best display judged by Chris Thomas was Staverton.
The Best in show and best member tree was a tie between Ian Duff with his Maple and Ade taylot with a Satsuki. They will share the trophies. Novice award went to Mike Bryan.
It was an excellent day thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
